AllCompanion Pet Care is a Fear Free certified, bonded and insured pet care business serving families in Santa Monica, Brentwood, and surrounding areas. Built on the belief that every companion — regardless of species, history, or behavioral patterns— deserves to be seen, respected, and cared for as the individual they are, AllCompanion is intentionally a one-person practice. Every service, every visit, and every message comes from the same trusted caregiver, so the relationship your companions build is never interrupted, handed off, or started over.
Q: Who is the caregiver?
My name is Drae Solberg. I am a compassionate, observant caregiver who finds deep meaning in building trust with all beings. Grounded, unhurried, and deeply attentive, I specialize in caring for sensitive, anxious, reactive, and companions with specific needs — the ones who need someone willing to slow down and truly listen.
I am sober and vegan — not as labels, but as extensions of the same commitment. Sobriety keeps me fully present for myself, my two cats, and every companion I have the privilege of caring for. Veganism keeps me consistent in my values, because a genuine belief in the worth of every living being has to show up in the way I live, not just the way I work.
The natural rhythms of the Earth guide the way I move through the world, and the way I show up for the companions in my care.
Q: Why did you create AllCompanion?
Long before the concept of a career made sense, I was showing up at commission board meetings to advocate for wolves before age thirteen, circulating petitions among peers, and spending summers volunteering. The belief was simple and unshakeable: every individual life has value, regardless of species.
That conviction carried me through field and laboratory work monitoring wolf populations in Idaho, and eventually to a painful reckoning with the gap between what wildlife conservation claimed to be and what it actually did. What followed was a period of reorientation: toward veganism, animal rights advocacy, farmed animal sanctuary care, and wildlife rehabilitation. Each chapter deepened the same core belief and taught me to meet every individual — every species, every temperament, every need — exactly where they are.
I founded AllCompanion in 2022 after noticing that same familiar gap in the pet care industry. Companions were being managed rather than understood. The fearful, reactive, disabled, and unconventional individuals were largely left without options. That is why AllCompanion exists: to offer the highest quality of personalized, Fear Free care, rooted in the belief that every companion deserves to be naturally, authentically themself.

Assisted the wolf curator in observing and supporting resident wolves, studied ethology, and educated visitors on wolf behavior and conservation.

Lead Volunteer, Blackbird Ranch Animal Sanctuary
Provided trauma-informed daily care for residents and educated the public on anti-speciesism, wildlife ethics, and compassionate co-existence.

Worked across college campuses in the United States and Canada promoting animal rights and encouraging critical conversations around speciesism.

Began providing in-home pet care services including dog walking and drop-in visits for cats and dogs in a fast-paced, client-centered environment.

Completed a force-free training apprenticeship after learning about behavioral patterns, ethology, training practices, and how to communicate effectively with human guardians.
